History
The founding group ACHARIYA World Class Educational Institutions had it's humble beginnings more than a decade ago by the launch of The ACHARIYA Teacher Education Academy and ACHARIYA College of Education in the year 2000. This was followed by the starting of the ACHARIYA Siksha Mandir and gradually classes were added. In the year 2001 ACHARIYA Bala Siksha Mandir was inaugurated at Thengaithittu Campus and its satellite branches were started at various places in Puducherry. In the year 2004 ACHARIYA Arts and Science College was started followed by Sri Sampourna Vidyalayam in the year 2005. ACHARIYA School of Business and Technology came into being in the year 2006.
ACHARIYA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (ACET) was inaugurated on 29.09.2010 and commenced from the academic year 2010-11with a sanctioned strength of 300 students with five branches:
B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE)
B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering(EEE)
B.Tech. Computer Science Engineering(CSE)
B.Tech Mechanical Engineering and
B.Tech Civil Engineering

Dr. J. Arawindhan, the chief mentor and managing trustee is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from SRM University. He has an unquenchable thirst for empowering educational revolution in the state of Puducherry, quietly spreading his aura to neighbouring areas to make and position ACHARIYA Group of World Class Educational Institutions into an institute of world recognition.
Mrs. J. Athilakshmi, trustee is the mother of the chief mentor, a highly energetic and dynamic individual who takes keen interest in the developmental activities at ACHARIYA
Mrs. A. Vinothini, is also a member and trustee of the ACHARIYA Institutions. She is the backbone of the administrative process and many organizational activities at ACHARIYA.
Managing Trustee and Chief Mentor
Dr. J.Arawindan is the chief Mentor of the Group and involves in the role in thought , word, deed and sprit . Achariyans are indeed fortunate to have a person with a guiding spirit encompassed with a great degree of integrity, high order of discipline and decorum and can be considered as a benchmark for teaching and worksmanship. Dr. G. Sakkaravel, with his mammoth experience of four decades in teaching and administration holds the directorship ably protecting the best interests of the ACHARIYA group and striving hard to transform ACHARIYA World Class Educational Institutions into an excellent model . The administrative talent of the director is put to the best possible use in creating world class graduates in all disciplines. Personal attention and care is imparted to each and every student at ACHARIYA in any level, be it preprimary, schooling or post graduates in arts and science or engineering.
