 ACHARIYA college of Education as a unit of ACHARIYA Educational Public Trust was started in November 2000, after obtaining the N.O.C from the Government of Puducherry. The institution is duly recognized by the NCTE (No. F.PN.SEC/SRO/SRO/NCTE/2004-05/3080 dated 11.05.2004) and is affiliated to Pondicherry University (No.PU/AS-I/Aca-1/ACEd/2009-10/139 dt:20.07.2010). The Institution is certified ISO 9001:2008 by BSI and is growing stronger under the able stewardship of Chief Mentor Dr.J.ARAWINDHAN who possesses mission and vision in the field of education.

Our aim is to bring about a total change in Teacher Education, to produce good, efficient and committed teachers with a patriotic favour, who will be ideal to transform the present society into an ideal one and to lead our country on the top of the World
